Our Vision

Guided by the needs of the community to improve the quality of life in Sutter County

The mission of Sutter County Community Action Agency is to assist all Sutter County residents achieve greater self-sufficiency and economic independence through the development of partnerships and collaboration with agencies that serve the low-income.

Homelessness prevention and reduction
Food security
Access to Health Services (including mental, behavioral, physical and alcohol/substance abuse)

SCCAA is governed by a board of directors consisting of at least one-third low-income community members, one-third public officials or their designees, and up to one-third private sector leaders. The Board is solely responsible for determining agency policy, approving annual budget and determining goals of the agency.
